nonprofit stakeholders to support the development and application of
low-impact, energy efficient building technologies.
ASERTTI is co-sponsoring the next briefing by the
High Performance
Building Congressional Caucus Coalition, “Overview and Update of
Activity at the Greater Philadelphia Innovation Cluster (GPIC) for
Energy Efficient Buildings,” to be held on October 27, 2011.
The Buildings Committee’s abstract submission, Smart Grid Research:
Building Infrastructure for the Future, was accepted for poster
presentation at the
2012
ACEEE Summer Study on Energy Efficiency in Buildings. The poster
presentation will focus on advanced building technologies, identifying
core research and technology breakthroughs needed to propel the market.
ASERTTI’s presentation aims to harnesses the power of numerous
institutions to better align public interests with investments that
support the retrofit and new building markets’ integration with smart
grid.
